We're delighted to be launching in St Albans thanks to a wonderful team of volunteers. Join us in the beautiful Mosaic Room in Verulamium Museum on Friday 2nd September to enjoy exclusive access to some of the museum's most treasured artefacts and experience the thrill of live crowdfunding for yourself. Four brilliant projects who are working to improve opportunities for local residents will have just six minutes each to convince you of their cause. This will be followed by our signature crowdfunding session where if you feel compelled you can offer your time, money or expertise in support their aims.
Tickets cost £10 and include refreshments. Tickets should be booked online in advance - please note we can only accept cash for tickets on the evening. We hope you can join us for what will be a very special inaugural event!
The Projects
At our events, charities pitch for 6 minutes before taking questions from the audience.
The OLLIE Foundation works to remove the stigma of talking about suicide and increase the channels of help to vulnerable young people
YPPT promotes inclusion, teamwork and develops self-confidence and resilience through year long creative projects in Year 6 classes.
Mind in Mid Herts teaches and develops people's resilience to overcome stress-related illnesses to maintain good mental health.
Sustainable St Albans engages and provides practical action to help the local community live more sustainably and be environmentally conscious.
