Over £70,000 raised at 20th Anniversary Crowdfunding Event
On 6 October, we celebrated our birthday with a special 20th Anniversary Crowdfunding Event and Members' Reception.
Taking place in the beautiful St. Bride Foundation, we started with a Members' Reception, hosted by co-founder Dr Frederick Mulder CBE. More than 50 members joined us on this special occasion, as we launched our 20 Year Impact Report and shiny new look.
Interested in membership? Contact Julia to find out more.
After the Reception, it was back to our usual business - connecting a room of engaged donors to three amazing causes. In just over an hour, we raised over £70,000 for The Streetlife Trust, Clowns Withour Borders UK and Get Rid of and Donate - smashing our original target of £30,000! Thank you to Vicky and Jane, Samantha and Andrea for your incredible pitches.
We also had an update from Dr Claire Malone, STEM Lead at Lightyear Foundation, who we first met back in 2016. You can watch Dr Claire Malone's talk here.
If you weren't able to join us but would still like to give, you can make a donation here. All donations are gratefully received.

The Streetlife Trust - Streetlife provides shelter and support for homeless and vulnerable young people in Blackpool. Through the provision of safe and friendly facilities and trained workers, they help young people reach their full potential.
Clowns Without Borders UK - Clowns Without Borders shares the healing power of laughter and play with children impacted by war and natural disasters. The particular project they are pitching for is focused on supporting Syrian children.
Get Rid of and Donate - Get Rid of and Donate alleviates poverty rates and reduces environmental impact by recycling clothes and goods that may otherwise go to waste, giving them to people in need instead.
