Juta Shoes & Birdsong up for Social Enterprise Awards
The UK Social Enterprise Awards recognise businesses that give back, enrich communities and make a contribution to society, as well as those who lead them – the social entrepreneurs who use their business acumen to make a real difference, tackling social and environmental problems both in Britain and abroad.
Juta Shoes, funded at the Young Funding Network in November 2017, creates beautiful products from reclaimed and sustainable materials, while empowering local communities.
BirdSong, funded at the Young Funding Network in November 2014, makes clothing from sustainable products working in close partnership with women’s organisations and charities.
The Awards will be held at London's Guild Hall on 28 November, and we wish our friends the best of luck.
