About This Event

27th March 2025 - 5:45pm

The Strategic Funding Group (SFG) is back, now as Connector Plus events!

This is a second-stage funding event to three small charities that have successfully pitched at one of our Connector events. Funding from a Connector Plus event is aimed at enabling a strategic step change in the charity’s work and impact.

This is a TFN member-only event, and the fundraising target is £15,000-£20,000 per charity. To register your attendance, please email info@thefundingnetwork.org.uk.

How It Works

At our live crowdfunding events, non-profits that are nominated and selected by members pitch for £10,000 each. Our events are open to anyone to attend and donations range from £10 to £10,000. Not been to a live crowdfunding event before? Read this to find out more.

The Projects

At our events, charities pitch for 6 minutes before taking questions from the audience.

Artis Foundation

Artis Foundation enables children to experience arts-led education integrated into the curriculum. Now they're creating an exciting new creative learning digital platform due for launch this summer, and will be seeking funds to meet the cost of producing content for 7-9 year old children and associated teacher training.

The Restart Project

The Restart Project wants to ramp up their campaigning work and specifically, International Repair Day events, taking advantage of the UK government’s newly formed Circular Economy Taskforce and pushing for a Right to Repair enshrined in legislation.

The Vavengers

With a strong track record of successful campaigning and the active engagement of their Patron, former Director of Public Prosecutions, Sir Max Hill KC, The Vavengers are seeking funds to create a global data tracker and resource hub mapping out healthcare and legal disparities facing FGM survivors.
