Let's start the year by supporting brilliant small charities!
On Thursday 8 February we came together at Octopus Group to support three brilliant small non-profits making a difference in the world.
Together we've raised over £45k!
The Projects
At our events, charities pitch for 6 minutes before taking questions from the audience.
Mazí Housing addresses the homelessness and social exclusion faced by asylum-seeking and refugee men in Athens, by providing them with housing and holistic support. In the face of government hostility, they provide a humane and cost-effective response to migration in Greece.
Solutions not Sides delivers conflict resolution, critical thinking and peace building education in UK schools by enabling young people to meet and engage with Israeli and Palestinian peace workers. They aim to reduce polarisation and foster empathy and understanding.
Thread Ahead redirects surplus clothing, toiletries and accessories that would otherwise end up in landfill or incineration to people with insecure immigration status. Their pop-up events build community, tackle climate harm by the fashion industry and give dignity to refugees.

Members of TFN can increase their understanding of the social change sector, deepen their engagement with the causes they give to, share their passion for social change, help organisations they already support and increase the impact of their donations.
