NCVO's Civil Society Almanac for 2016 has shown that whilst income in the third sector grew overall in 2013/14, small and medium sized charities saw a fall in their revenue. Charities under £1million make up 96.8% of the sector yet only share 20.4% of the income generated. TFN not only multiplies the impact of donations through collective giving but also works to increase the share these smaller organisations receive and their ability to create change.
Hosted by our new friends at Cazenove Capital Management, join us to hear from four fantastic organisations working to empower those suffering from the effects of our unequal society and our trademark live crowdfunding session where you can offer your support. The Projects
At our events, charities pitch for 6 minutes before taking questions from the audience.
To improve the livelihoods of fishing communities around the shores of Lake Victoria in Kenya through the provision of renewable energy.
The Bede Inside Outside Project enabled volunteers who have a learning disability to help elderly and housebound neighbours in the London Borough of Southwark.
To support 28 young aspiring social leaders to develop enterprises & charities that tackle social problems like homelessness, unemployment and elderly isolation.
To end the unfair trading practices of supermarkets and food retailers that lead to huge levels of food waste in the supply chain.

The Funding Network is made up of individuals and businesses who want to support social change. Members of TFN can increase their understanding of the social change sector, deepen their engagement with the causes they give to, share their passion for social change, help organisations they already support and increase the impact of their donations.
