About This Event

23rd March 2022 - 6:00pm

We'll be joining forces with the Environmental Funders Network on 23rd March to support three fantastic organisations tackling pressing environmental issues. At this event, we'll be aiming to raise £20,000 for three charities. Guests will have the opportunity to hear 6-minute pitches from the charities, ask questions and contribute financially should they choose. The event will take place over Zoom from 6.00 - 8.00pm. Please contact Jennie if you are interested in attending or would like more information.

How It Works

At our live crowdfunding events, non-profits that are nominated and selected by members pitch for £10,000 each. Our events are open to anyone to attend and donations range from £10 to £10,000. Not been to a live crowdfunding event before? Read this to find out more.

The Projects

At our events, charities pitch for 6 minutes before taking questions from the audience.

SSA Logo

Launched in 2017, the SSA seeks to see UK soils restored to health through sustainable management within a generation. Healthy soils are critical for clean water, biodiversity, climate change mitigation and food - yet 1/3 of global soils are degraded with potentially catastrophic consequences for life on Earth.

The Orchard Project is the national charity for community orchards. Their mission is to bring orchards into the heart of urban communities. Their primary aims are to improve access to orchards across wider social groups, enable sustainable communities, champion orchards, and take action on climate and food through orchards.

Poverty and Environment Trust

The Poverty and Environment Trust aims to reduce UK greenhouse gas emissions in a way that empowers and includes communities living in poverty.  Their current focus is the Community Energy Revolution, which aims to do this by unblocking the remarkable potential for local renewable energy generation to benefit UK communities.
