About This Event

18th October 2022 - 5:30pm

The Funding Network is delighted to join forces with Give Out and Consortium, as well as our corporate partner Macquarie, for a fourth year to host City for LGBT+.

This live crowdfunding event (taking place in-person and online) brings together community and corporate allies to make a difference to the lives of LGBTQI individuals and communities in the UK and around the world. This year, there will be four charities pitching under the theme of communities in crisis.

Join us on Tuesday 18 October from 5:30pm. To register your place, click the button below.

How It Works

At our live crowdfunding events, non-profits that are nominated and selected by members pitch for £10,000 each. Our events are open to anyone to attend and donations range from £10 to £10,000. Not been to a live crowdfunding event before? Read this to find out more.

The Projects

At our events, charities pitch for 6 minutes before taking questions from the audience.

IraQueer

IraQueer are Iraq’s first and leading LGBTQ+ human rights organisation. They work to raise awareness about LGBTQ_ identities and issues in the country and provide direct services and support to LGBTQ+ people.

Loving me

Loving me are a UK based support and advocacy service for Trans and Non-Binary domestic abuse victims. They provide one-to-one online support and advocacy by trained specialists to this community across England. The team work closely with The Emily Davison Centre.

Steph's Place

Steph's Place was founded in May 2020 to heighten the visibility and acceptance of trans people in society. The Steph's Place website has grown rapidly and is now a primary 'trans resource' both in the UK and globally.
