About This Event

10th November 2020 - 6:00pm

We were delighted to support new philanthropy initiative, the Black Funding Network, to launch their first event on 10th November. This event was dedicated to projects fighting for racial and economic equity in the UK, and collectively our audience raised an incredible £30,000.

There's still time to get involved: watch the recording here or make a donation using this form

Thank you to all who came and supported!

How It Works

At our live crowdfunding events, non-profits that are nominated and selected by members pitch for £10,000 each. Our events are open to anyone to attend and donations range from £10 to £10,000. Not been to a live crowdfunding event before? Read this to find out more.

The Projects

At our events, charities pitch for 6 minutes before taking questions from the audience.

Sister System

Sister System delivers programmess to young, female care leavers. Sister System’s mission is to bridge the gap between care-affected girls and mainstream society, by working alongside them to ensure they have the same opportunities everyone else has - at home, school, work and within communities.

With Insight CIC

With Insight's mission is to increase the number of black-heritage pupils successfully applying to top universities as a gateway to a more prosperous future. Their online mentoring programmes match black-heritage state school pupils aged 14-18 to black-heritage student mentors from leading universities, e.g. Bristol and UCL.

Elevated Minds

Elevated Minds runs long-term programmes to give young people alternative strategies to improve Mental Health & Wellbeing, to build self-esteem, to build emotional intelligence, to increase self-value and to significantly improve the belief that they can have a better future.
