We're delighted to announce that CFN and BeyondMe are partnering to host The Multiplier, a live crowdfunding event to encourage, engage and empower City professionals to multiply their support for social change projects on the BeyondMe portfolio.
For those of you who don't know, BeyondMe motivates and mobilises professionals to form teams that give their time, skills and money over a period of time to pressing social issues. We're super excited to be working with them; we're both committed to making a difference and we want you to be part of this. Lead by example, meet like-minded people, network and most importantly, work together to improve the lives of those less fortunate. The first £3000 raised will be doubled by match funders City Philanthropy – so pledge early and double your donation!
Thanks to our Community Partners WeWork and Highflyers, we have a venue with cracking penthouse views, beer on tap and tasty treats. We'd love you to bring your friends and colleagues along - tickets are £15 for one, £20 for two, and all money goes to the projects pitching. Space is limited and we expect to sell out so book now to reserve your place!
The Projects
At our events, charities pitch for 6 minutes before taking questions from the audience.
Maternity Worldwide works in low-income countries to help women and girls access the high quality maternal healthcare they need to give birth safely. Their PwC BeyondMe team is supporting the 'Home to Hospital Tracking Project.
Book Clubs in Schools enables Year 10 &12 pupils to run book clubs for Year 7 & 8 pupils to bridge the social gap, develop literacy skills, and leadership experience. Their PwC BeyondMe team is supporting the organisation's wider growth strategy.
South London Cares is a community network of young professionals and older neighbours hanging out and helping one another. Their Deloitte BeyondMe team is supporting the operational and staff development of the organisation.
