Over £50,000 raised at Strategic Funding Group
Earlier this week we met up for the second SFG meeting of the year, kindly hosted at the beautiful home of one of our members.
Three projects pitched who had previously been funded at events in London and Belfast in 2015. Startuponline aims to divert young women close to the Criminal Justice System away from offending, through life skills and employability training. Friends of Kipkelion will be expanding their model of community-led development into Northern Ugands. Finally, Street Soccer NI will develop the first homeless women's project in Northern Ireland, tackling problems arising from homelessness, mental health issues, addiction and unemployment.
We're so pleased and grateful to our members that we were able to collectively raise over £50,000, providing transformational funding to the three projects.
