A summer evening of generosity, connection and collective giving!
Thank you to everyone who joined us for our Summer Connector 2026 and helped make the evening such a generous success.
On such an exceptionally warm evening, we were especially grateful to everyone who came out to be with us in person — and to those who joined us online when they were unable to make it into the room. However people took part, the spirit of the evening was unmistakable: generous, engaged and full of support for three brilliant small charities.
Together, we raised a fantastic £38,200 for School and Family Works, which brings therapeutic family support into schools; People Need Today, which provides direct support to people facing homelessness, isolation, disability and domestic abuse; and the Environmental Law Foundation, which gives communities free legal support to challenge environmental harm.
We are hugely grateful to T. Rowe Price for kindly hosting the evening and for their continued support of TFN. Their long-standing partnership has now helped raise over £250,000 for 34 small charities — a powerful reminder of what becomes possible when thoughtful hosts, generous supporters and grassroots organisations come together.
The evening also included an impact report from Afghanistan Education Action, who shared how previous TFN funding helped them grow from supporting 1,100 Afghan girls with online education to reaching more than 2,000. It was a moving reminder that the impact of a TFN event continues long after the pledges are made.
Below, you’ll find the amount raised for each charity, along with a short summary of what the funding will help make possible. If you were unable to attend, or would like to add to an existing pledge, there is still time to support them.

MEET THE CHARITIES WHO PITCHED
Three brilliant small charities
People In Need Today (PINT)
Total raised £13,400
Funds raised will support People Need Today’s mobile outreach van appeal, helping them reach more people who are hidden, isolated or unable to access traditional support services.
People Need Today provides practical, direct support to people facing homelessness, disability, isolation, domestic abuse and other urgent needs. Evolving from youth mentoring into wider community outreach, the charity uses a street-walking model to reach people who may avoid larger services, including vulnerable women. Their proposed mobile outreach van would increase capacity by an estimated 40%, allowing them to go further and respond more quickly.
The School and Family Network
Total raised £12,000
Funds raised will help School and Family Works sustain and grow its Family Group model, bringing therapeutic support into schools for children and families facing adversity.
School and Family Works supports children and families through its Family Group programme, which brings families into schools for structured therapeutic sessions. Founded by Mark Griffiths, the charity has spent 16 years helping families build trust, confidence and connection at moments when children may be struggling most. As school contributions have fallen, philanthropic support has become vital to keeping this work alive.
Environmental Law Foundation
Total raised £12,800
Funds raised will help the Environmental Law Foundation provide free legal support to more communities facing environmental harm, particularly those with the fewest resources.
The Environmental Law Foundation gives UK communities access to free legal advice and support when they are affected by pollution, planning decisions or environmental injustice. Working through a pro bono network of 150 lawyers, ELF delivered around £1 million of legal support last year on a budget of £170,000, handling 381 cases. Their work helps communities understand their rights, challenge harm and seek justice.
