Three Years of Member Vouchers: A Milestone Worth Celebrating

Date

Three years ago, we introduced a new benefit for TFN members: every first-time guest of a member would receive a £100 voucher to allocate to one of the projects pitching on the night.

The idea was prompted by an ambition to introduce more people to TFN and increase the support available to small charities, and by an observation we saw borne out time and again – the people best placed to introduce others to TFN are the members who already know and love it.

Three years on, the results speak for themselves.

Since launch, 221 vouchers have been awarded, directing £22,100 to grassroots charities and eighty four voucher recipients went on to make donations of their own, contributing a further £33,270 to charities pitching at TFN events.

Together, the vouchers and subsequent donations have generated £55,370 for more than 50 small charities working to improve lives and strengthen communities across the UK.

In other words, every £100 voucher inspired a further £151 in charitable giving.

Beyond the funds raised, the initiative has opened doors – connecting us to new corporate hosts, welcoming new members and sparking ideas we wouldn’t have found otherwise.

A huge thank you to the members who have made the most of this benefit and introduced more than 200 people to TFN, and to the Frederick Mulder Foundation, whose generous support has funded every voucher awarded over the past three years.

Join as a member today and unlock up to £1,000 in additional project funding – simply by bringing first-time guests to our Connector events each year.
