Over a quarter of a million pounds raised for small charities with T. Rowe Price

Date

At our Summer Connector in June, £44,357 was raised for School and Family Works, People in Need Today and the Environmental Law Foundation.

The event also marked an exciting milestone: events hosted by T. Rowe Price have now raised more than £275,000 for 16 small charities since the company joined The Funding Network in 2018.

The impact has gone well beyond the money raised on the night. Half of the charities supported at the events went on to secure further funding from people they met at them, while others gained new volunteers and advocates.

T. Rowe Price has also made donations of more than £36,000 to 32 small charities that have pitched at TFN events in recent years.

As Mandy Maskell, T. Rowe Price’s Director of Global Corporate Responsibility, said:

“TFN connects us with organisations we might not otherwise encounter, broadening our reach and deepening our understanding of community needs.”

Corporate hosts are an essential part of TFN’s live crowdfunding model, providing the venues, hospitality, technical support and match funding that help small charities reach new supporters. You can watch the three Summer Connector pitches and pledge your support here. If your company is interested in hosting a TFN event, please contact Ana Moutella, our Membership Manager.

TFN Charity Alumni in Action: Colyton Foundation
