Connector Plus at The OWO

Date

Last month we enjoyed a memorable evening at the McKay Williamson Gallery at The OWO - the historic Old War Office, now beautifully transformed into residences and the Raffles Hotel.

Our warm thanks to host Richard Williamson , who welcomed guests and spoke powerfully about the importance of art and beauty in a world that can often feel challenging. Amen to that.

Together, we raised over £50,000 for three outstanding organisations:

  • First Give – empowering young people to make a difference, now expanding into the North West

  • APPEAL – overturning wrongful convictions, now supporting women in custody to access their right to appeal

  • Solutions Not Sides – helping young people engage constructively with conflict, now shaping the UK’s Citizenship curriculum

You can watch their pitches and support their work via the past events page.

Connector Plus events provide second-stage funding to organisations that have successfully pitched at a Connector, backing ambitious, timely projects with the kind of courageous funding TFN is known for.

Our next Connector Plus will take place in November.
