Join us to support families caught in escalating conflict in Lebanon, help disadvantaged young people in the South West achieve their academic potential, and enable migrants and refugees across London and the South East to rebuild their lives through language and confidence.

Three brilliant small charities

Colyton Foundation

Colyton Foundation supports disadvantaged young people in the South West, where only 10% on free school meals progress to higher education, to fulfil their academic potential. Founded by leaders from Colyton Grammar School, one of the UK’s top-performing state schools, they work with schools to support high-attaining pupils at risk of falling behind. Backed by partners including Cambridge, Bristol, and Exeter, the programme builds confidence and ambition. This is an exciting opportunity to support an early-stage charity with clear long-term impact.

Learn English at Home

Learn English at Home (LEAH) supports migrants, refugees, and asylum seekers—often navigating isolation, trauma, and uncertainty—to rebuild their lives, reaching over 600 people each year. Through 150+ trained volunteers, learners gain the language and confidence to navigate everyday services and move towards independence and employment. They are seeking support to expand Employability Clinics. An opportunity to back a proven, highly efficient, volunteer-led model delivering life-changing impact.

Free Shop Lebanon

Nominated by Elizabeth Tasker
Free Shop Lebanon supports refugees and vulnerable families in the Bekaa Valley, 30km east of Beirut - now facing escalating conflict, displacement, and deepening poverty. Led by Syrian refugees and supported by UK trustees, the project provides essential items through its Free Shop, where families choose what they need. Since the most recent conflict, they have opened shelters for around 300 people, many children. This is a critical opportunity to back a small, grassroots charity with deep roots in the community to deliver aid directly where it’s needed most.
