MEET THE CHARITIES WHO PITCHED
Three brilliant small charities
Flourish Mentors
Total raised £11,525
Funds raised will allow Flourish Mentors to produce wellbeing resources created by and for mentees.
About
Young women in England face mental health challenges at twice the rate of young men. Through co-created mentoring and youth-led wellbeing programmes, Flourish Mentors is helping care-experienced, neurodiverse, and isolated young women build resilience and confidence.
Become United
Total raised £10,968
Funds raised will expand their programme and pilot an initiative to support racially minoritised communities into green jobs.
About
Systemic barriers have kept racially minoritised communities in Greater Manchester away from nature. Through culturally rooted outdoor programmes, Become United is helping historically excluded communities connect with nature, boost wellbeing, and thrive.
Fazamnesty
Total raised £15,448
Funds raised will allow Fazamnesty to expand their programme into the West Midlands.
About
Fear and peer pressure–not just criminality–drive knife possession and violence in the UK. Through anonymous weapon surrender services, community patrols, and trusted partnerships with police, Fazamnesty is removing weapons from circulation and bridging the gap between communities and law enforcement.
