A Fond Farewell to our Chief Executive
In April 2019, TFN will bid farewell to its Chief Executive, Celine Gagnon.
Under her leadership, TFN has developed exciting partnerships, piloted new ideas and improved our offering to the non-profits and donors that we exist to support.
Celine has overseen 51 events in the UK and supported our International Director to develop our work overseas. Her contribution to TFN and to the broader field of philanthropy will be long-lasting; she has built an organisation that is financially strong, well connected in the sector, and ambitious for its future.
The Board is confident that the coming years will be exciting and productive ones for TFN. We have developed a robust transition plan and will continue to build on TFN’s firm foundations. TFN has a small but highly dedicated team who will miss Celine greatly. I have full confidence they will do her proud in the years to come. We will be announcing Celine’s successor in due course.
Celine now plans to work on a freelance basis in London, which will allow her to spend more time with her family in Canada.
On behalf of the Board of Trustees and the TFN team, we warmly wish her the best of luck for her future adventures and look forward to seeing her at the occasional event.
Fred Mulder, Founder of TFN, said: “We are so grateful for, and have learned so much from Celine’s thoughtful direction. Her energy and charm will be much missed.”
Sam Lush, TFN Co-Chair
