Feeling inspired this Veganuary?
Perhaps you’re giving a plant-based diet a go, or maybe you’ve made it your New Year’s Resolution to support sustainability-driven charities? Either way, we’ve got a round up of 3 TFN-funded organisations you might like to get behind.
1. ProVeg UK are on a mission to reduce global consumption of animals. At our most recent event, they raised £23,000 for their School Plates programme that is increasing the quantity, quality and uptake of plant-based school meals. To find out more, watch Director Jimmy Pierson’s pitch from our Festive Event.
2. Feedback pitched with us first in 2016 and again in 2021. Recognising that food production is the greatest single impact humans have on the environment, Feedback are campaigning for a transformation of the food system. You can read about their programmes of work here.
3. Hubbub pitched at EFN Live in 2017, a crowdfunding event run in partnership with Environmental Funders Network. Their mission is to get everyone on board with protecting the environment, concentrating on the day-to-day actions we can all make. One way they do this is through their recipe page, which is full of simple vegan-friendly recipes designed to use up what’s already in your cupboards.
Want to support more small charities but don’t have time to research them? Get in touch to speak to us about membership or come along to our next event on Wednesday 8th February - all are welcome.
