Charities shift to digital delivery
Many charities - TFN included - have had their plans for digital upgrades accelerated by the coronavirus pandemic. From virtual exhibitions by Migration Museum, to inclusive active learning sessions from Lightyear Foundation, to singing workshops with Choir With No Name, to home-delivery phone repair from Cracked It - our grantees have embraced digital technologies like never before.
For many organisations, this is pretty new territory and fortunately support is available - most recently this fantastic initiative from the National Lottery Community Fund and Catalyst. If you're a TFN grantee, we'd love to hear how you've adapted to delivering your work remotely - drop us a line or tweet us @fundingnetwork.
Here at TFN, we've enjoyed the challenge of shifting our events online and so far have received fantastic feedback. We'll continue to make use of technology both to ensure that our events can take place whatever the circumstances and to make them as easy - and enjoyable - to attend as possible. We look forward to updating you further in the coming months!
In the meantime, please join us on 24th September for our next virtual event - register here for free. There's never been a better time to be part of the TFN movement.
