Black Funding Network Spring Funder smashes targets
We were excited to support TFN Member Patricia Hamzahee and her team at the Black Funding Network to host their second live crowdfunding event in support of innovative Black-led organisations on 29th April. BFN harnesses thoughtful giving to help changemakers serving Britain's Black community. We are proud to support them as they work to increase support to Black-led grassroots organisations, particularly at a time when many are facing unprecedented demand coupled with reduced funding.
The evening was expertly hosted by Broadcaster Henry Bonsu, and three non-profits - Make a Difference at Sandies, Alfred Fagon Award and A2i Dyslexia - presented fantastic pitches in just five minutes each. Our audience of over 100 people collectively raised more than £20,000 towards their vital work. We look forward to updating you on their impact over the coming months.
Thank you to all who came and donated!
