Over £84,000 raised at City For LGBT+ event

On 18 October, we were delighted to join forces with Give Out, Consortium and Macquarie to run our fourth consecutive City for LGBT+ event, a live crowdfunding event connecting donors with LGBTQI communities across the world.

Taking place at Macquarie's EMEA Headquarters, we welcomed corporate and community allies in support of LGBTQI communities in crisis. On the night, we had representatives from Helem, IraQueer, Loving Me and Steph's Place (now TransLucent) pitching for support. In total, we raised over £84,000 - that's more than double our target of £40,000. As well as contributing donations of their own, The Macquarie Group Foundation is generously matching all donations made by others at the event.

It's not too late to pledge - if you'd like to support these organisations, click here to make a donation
