About This Event

24th November 2020 - 5:30pm

We had a fantastic evening at the first ever virtual Oxford Gives. Three fantastic local charities pitched for your support and raised over £14,000 to continue supporting those most in need in their communities.  Thank you to Cherwell Theatre Company, Oxfordshire Breastfeeding Support and Soundabout Inclusive Choir, and to all who came and gave so generously.

How It Works

At our live crowdfunding events, non-profits that are nominated and selected by members pitch for £10,000 each. Our events are open to anyone to attend and donations range from £10 to £10,000. Not been to a live crowdfunding event before? Read this to find out more.

The Projects

At our events, charities pitch for 6 minutes before taking questions from the audience.

Cherwell Theatre Company creates an environment where young people can be themselves, make friends and feel valued, bringing their unique qualities & aspirations to life through inclusive community theatre in extraordinary spaces.

OBS works to increase the health and wellbeing of mothers and their babies by educating and empowering Oxfordshire families to define and achieve their feeding goals, and taking a lead role in developing an integrated network of breastfeeding support throughout Oxfordshire, so that all parents can access skilled, timely, local breastfeeding help.

Soundabout was created following the success of a pilot project providing interactive music making for children with severe disabilities in Oxford. The central aim of Soundabout's approach is to enable profoundly disabled people's voices to be heard through music making and ensure full participation.
