A big thank-you to Rowan Boase for all her hard work here at the Young Funding Network. After two years of giving her time and expertise to YFN, Rowan is now leaving us to move back to her home in Scotland.

Here is what she had to say about her time at YFN:

“There are so many highlights! The best bit for me was working with such an amazing team and the other volunteers, I don’t think I would have stayed this long if it wasn’t for them! But also, the events. You always leave an event with such a high, there’s a real ‘feel good factor’ about them. You also get really involved as a volunteer, especially when you get to be part of the selection process for the projects at an event.”

With her background in evaluation and M&E, Rowan has helped YFN enormously with its strategy and direction. She’s been a regular sunny fixture at events and we’re all going to miss her! But she’s promised that she’ll still visit and who knows, maybe we’ll have the launch of YFN Scotland soon!
