We're excited to be back in action with Year Here on Thursday 14th December. Supporting their second cohort of 2017, we'll be showcasing the latest crop of social ventures emerging from their venture lab tackling some of the most pressing social issues we face today. 

How It Works

At our live crowdfunding events, non-profits that are nominated and selected by members pitch for £10,000 each. Our events are open to anyone to attend and donations range from £10 to £10,000. Not been to a live crowdfunding event before? Read this to find out more.

The Projects

At our events, charities pitch for 6 minutes before taking questions from the audience.

Routes

Routes addresses the inadequate ESOL provision for female refugees, asylum seekers and migrants, by providing women-only creative English classes promoting confidence building and language development in a supportive environment.

Ranwö

Ranwö aims to assist low-income single mothers access greater support into employment. Through such support, we hope to subdue the financial problems they currently face. 

ArtThou

ArtThou is a consultancy that facilitates participatory art projects as a tool for community engagement in order to generate meaningful insight to shape the development of an area.  

Maxx Chatbot

Max aims to tackle the poverty premium by providing financial services to people on low incomes, Max also aims to reduce mental health problems caused by financial stress.

ShareCare

ShareCare aims to create an asset-based child care service targeted at low income parents that works alongside institutions which provide opportunities for these parents.

The Good Wood Workshop

The Good Wood Workshop is a woodworking school that aims to upskill young adults into careers in construction.

The Funding Network is made up of individuals and businesses who want to support social change. Members of TFN can increase their understanding of the social change sector, deepen their engagement with the causes they give to, share their passion for social change, help organisations they already support and increase the impact of their donations.
